Little Big Events
Assets created for a 15-second story for social media. The story showcases a variety of activities that participants can get involved in at the Little Big Markets. The Little Big Markets launched in the summer of 2009 on the corner of Matai St and Maunganui Rd, Mt Maunganui. Initially a personal project, the coming together of a community of like-minded creatives grew from 20 stalls to 40, then 60 - before reaching capacity and establishing itself as a ‘must-do’ event for the local community. With this in mind, I used iconography to display a small handful of some of these activities.
The digital billboard is based on the Little Big Market's values behind each event: Shop, Eat, Connect. The layout is based on the company's current set of adverts (as of summer 2022). This was also applied to the Story that could be used for Instagram and Facebook. Using Adobe Illustrator, I created three icons focusing on these values. Once created, I moved these into Adobe After Effects to animate.
