The Creative & Digital Arts department at Buckinghamshire College Group hosts exhibitions every year for their students to showcase their hard work to their families and the general public. 2018 was a milestone, marking the first time that all art courses came together for a unified exhibition. The title, 'Outlines', was chosen to showcase to the public the next generation of creatives.
As part of the team, I was responsible for creating the branding for the event. I designed a variety of assets including marketing materials (posters, postcards), wayfinding, using vinyl-cut versions of these designs throughout the campus to guide visitors to the rooms where the student work was displayed.
In addition to the wayfinding graphics, I created motion graphics to play between the films created by the Creative Media Production students. After the exhibition, I edited footage collected from the event to use for promotional material for future applications for creative courses. The footage was captured with a Nikon D3200 camera equipped with wide-angle and macro lenses. Some of the footage required color correction due to the lighting throughout the event.
