One of the key projects I worked on during my contract with Tauranga City Council was the "It's Time" campaign. The campaign was to inform the residents of Tauranga about future changes to the city that the council were planning. This was part of the Council's "Long Term Plan". The objective of the project was to gather feedback from the residents of Tauranga about their vision for the future of the city centre. The idea is to bring life back to the city centre through music, art and retail spaces. Many buildings have been refurbished and a new building precinct, Te Manawataki o Te Papa, has been planned.
The campaign utilized both print and digital outputs including local newspapers, posters, digital billboards, web & HTML5 banners and social media graphics that were used to raise awareness and encourage participation in the feedback process.
The typographic images were used for display around Tauranga city wherever construction work was taking place. Other work completed included a variety of design duties including creating posters, forms, collateral for city improvements and policy booklets.
